Dafphee was born to the family for chief and mrs Gordon Akoforo Dafiaghor, in Ughelli Locol Government Area of Delta State Nigeria.
Came to Lagos to pursue a music career in 1990 and had so remained an unknown artiste inspite of his enormouse talent.
Dafphee played music in several churches, clubs and restaurants. Of note is when he played the keyboards at the household of God church whose pastor is the renown 21st century preacher, Rev. Chris Okotie.
He's release quite a number of unknown and unsung albums till when in 2003 he release the smash hit OTONGE.
